Genetics of Taiwan Bee: Prevailing View and Dissenting Opinion

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Dear Reader,

just a short comment on my beliefs concerning Taiwan Bees (TWB):

I know that in most invertabrates’ forum peolpe say that Taiwan Bee are mutation of Red Bee (CR). That’s what their owners say. These peolpe have spent lot’s of money on these shrimp to get it in the first place . Perhaps because they like them so much, perhaps because they want to make money with it, perhaps because as a sign of conspicuous consumption. To say it clearly: My position – that TWB are a crossbred species-  is a dissenting opinion which should also be respected.

Thanks,
Imke

Black Taiwan Bee

I have found an interesting pic on bidders.co.jp. Doesn’t this Taiwan Bee look like a cross-bred Black Tiger to CR shrimp?
