Shrimp Soil Shop

A thing that really makes me wonder is that there is no highly specialised internet shop for shrimp soil and gravel. So many shrimp keepers are looking for very special gravel and have problems to buy it in their LFS. The shippment costs are not so high anyway, since DPD and DHL ship parcels up to 30kg. We still have no Volcamia, Riki and Gex soil avalaible here, so that’s a real market gap IMHO. If I will do business with shrimps supplies at any time,  the Shrimp Soil Shop Germany would be my first choice ;)

    Hi Imke,
    new Volcamia Green by HIROSE will be available in germany from august.

    Difference between Volcamia G/D and new Green: Volcamia G/D specialized mainly on filtering. So the size of each grain is little bigger than those of Green. The size of the grain of Green is smaller (comparable to RedBeeSand), because the growth of roots gets more active when the space between each grain is dense. Also, the pH of Green is set around 6.2+/- 0.3.
