EBI 999 Shrimp Bacter is a new baby shrimp food available on German market. Ebi999 is a very successful Taiwanese shrimp breeder who focuses on Red Bee and Black Bee shrimp. Organic plant proteins and vitamins are the ingredients providing healthy growth and molting to shrimplets. Since this food is brand new, it is sold online only irregularely on the websites wirbelosenauktionshaus.de and ebay.de. I will test this food in autumn and will keep you updated on my testing.

I ordered a package as well some weeks ago, and since I’ve been feeding it for these few weeks I must say that this food is well-accepted by every kind of baby shrimp and even my taiwan shrimp babies, which used to grow not as fast as my other shrimps, seem to grow now faster and evolve more robustly than before. The mortality rate has obviously been reduced as well – I’d say that the breeding efficiency is currently rising up to 90% actually.

honestly, i can not share this experience.
My baby shrimps respond better to Shirakura baby food or cheap spirulina powder. I have not noticed any interest in that food from my adult shrimps, that are actually crazy for most baby foods, too.
I cannot confirm any chance in growth, health, mortality at all.
I will continue testing that food in one of my tanks, but up to now, i would not buy it again.
