I found a single, interesting looking shrimp in my local fish store ad took it home. I guess that’s a Tigerbee or some other hybrid. Update: berried from a Supertiger since june 24th dropped all eggs until june 30th

I think that Taiwan Bee are not that far from Tigerbee shrimps, as well as CR shrimps are not so far from Tiger shrimps. When having a closer look on wildcaught Bee shrimps you will discover that the pattern from the sideview is similar to those of Tigerbee. Compare eyes, rostrum and tail also. Color [...]

Everybody interested in the genetics of Taiwan Bee, should check out this thread in shrimpnow (click here) where some really interesting pictures have been showed. It seems that King Kong, Panda and red Ruby are not so far from Tigers and Tiger Bees.
Thanks to Kerstin I have some Tigerbees again. Since I believe that Tiger and CR/CB have a similar genetical background I am trying to do some ‘backcrossing’ with Tiger and CR.
