It was in summer 2008 when I did some crossbreeding of Red Tiger and Blue Tiger orange eye (OE). I presented the breeding project in German garnelenforum.de. Similar shrimps I have had in F2 have made it to the shops finally. Check out images at wirbellosenandmore (scroll down).

Red Tiger Shrimps come from different strains: They wildcaught form from southern China is a local color variation of normal Tiger Shrimps. These shrimps are not so easy to get and sometimes have the body shimmering bluish. Another strain has been bred by Gerd Voss in Germany. Gerd crossbred Red Tiger with Chrystal Red shrimps. [...]
