Red Fire Sakura

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Red Fire Sakura are a very intensive red colored Neocaridina species. The red is mostly warmer and more covering than this of ‘normal’ Red Cherry. Experts still quarrel if Sakura are only selected Red Cherry or a own (perhaps crossbred) species. Visually, the difference can bee seen quickly. Although the offspring is well colored, you have to sort 5-10% off.

Sakura shrimp appeared on the international market from 2006 on and were very popluar in Germany in 2008. My Sakura come from two origins: 1. from Chi-Tai Lee (Taiwan), the championship winner in 2009 and 2. from Mr. Krabs in Cologne. Check out more photos here.
